Here in Nebraska, I can't go one day without seeing some lame dudes in Supreme tees or rocking the latest hot shit from Greedy Genius. Ebay is crazy.
Which makes me think, what are the most underated brands out there. What brand can I buy that I won't see even here?
I heard someone talk about japenese stuff, but I don't feel like spending money on jeans and shit on the summer?
How many of you guys buy neighborhood?

Most people still look like there stuck on the whole "skull and bones" theme...

i would put another vote for stussy too; they've been around forever and still maintain respect and cred; they don't put out superhyped pieces but rather consistently good designs; a pioneer in the industry and after scaling back after being ubiquitous and too widespread in the 90s they've stayed true to their roots.

least played out compared to anything you listed (obviously not dior homme but is that really considered streetwear?) stussy stays consistent.
are we using the same dictionary for "played out" ?
how often do you see anyone with the brands that i've listed?
how bout this, do you have anything from any of those brands?
that should tell you something
are you kidding me? stussy the least played out brand?
stussy is one of the og's in the "streetwear".
hate it or love it.
you must respect shawn stussy

number nine - nothing
mastermind - a tee
neighbourhood - nbhd x porter kona pouch
dior homme - rock and roll jacket (this one cost me a fucking lot)
bounty x hunter - nothing
original fake - nothing
xlarge - nothing
fenom - nothing
I know people who wear the brands that I don't own though. The brands are pretty played out in concept of design. it doesnt' matter who's wearing what. just because something is worn alot doesn't mean that it's played out, played out means that there is no real vision for the company anymore and they just keep repeating shit over and over again.
well i guess we have a different definition of played out in our minds and so does the person that started the thread.
the person that started the thread used the phrase "played out" as in you see it everywhere and its over popular.
which definition of "played out" is right? i don't know
i think a majority of companies have lost their "real vision" and i don't blame them cause they pump out new stuff by the truck load each season.
I'm just too disgusted at seeing everyone with stussy.
all the kids that are trying to hop on the trend buys a stussy t and thinks its makes them all cool and hip
you know you need to move onto another brand when you see a geek from the high school you graduate from wearing the stuff you wore two years ago.

are you kidding me? stussy the least played out brand?
yeah, i'd say stussy's doing pretty good considering how long they've been around. soon enough they will be though.
in my city, none of these brands are played out. and i like it that way. minus lrg though.

just cuz you havent seen some "really sick" design or label doesnt mean its not played out. i really dont care what brand i wear if it has a fitted look to it and i like it, ill throw it on. plus if they care large sizes IM IN!

i agree with whoever said that stussy needs to be respected...
same goes for Fuct. Eric Brunetti fathered a lot of this shit.
shit, even freshjive has a really long (albeit inconsistent) history that should be respected. im almost 30 years old and was rocking a feshjive cap in highschool.
the truly "played out" brands are the ones who come out of nowhere and flood the shit, fall off, and end up in TJ Maxx and Burlington Coat Factory outlets in southern indiana knocking 2 shirts for $20 (stash house, LRG...).

im liking 3sixteen
3sixteen is lovely, true crastmanship and care in design.
twelvebar is really catching my eye also, very well done and proffessional.
Leroy Jenkins is really unique, and gets a lot of compliments from regular joes on the street (not hypebeast kids).
estateLA is the future of fitteds, fuck a new era. always top notch product from them.
still life is a cut above all others, but not anything some of you pre-pubescent socal faggots could even fathom.
Official Fitteds are on the come up also, but i am ashamed to say that brand loyalty to estate (who feels like official is biting, which, of course, they are) makes em hard to cop for me. did it anyway, and am really pleased with the product.
and i gotta say that hufnagel and supreme are horribly overhyped and overrocked. the "box" logo is a well thought out hype blitz to take all the money that the asians parents give em, and hufnagel is a one trick pony with the "H" fitteds (usually with colors/concepts taken from sources with more creativity and less exposure/money).
