I ordered a shirt from them a while ago and it came pretty fast (like a week or so). Not sure why your hoodie is taking so long.

thanks Jest! I don't know if I could wait all over again even with the 20% haha. Can't wait for the hoodie, but the thing is that they told me it wasn't a preiorder...I ordered by talking to the person via email and they said it would come in 7-14 days then like 14 days later they say oh its delayed. Then like 14 days later they said it would be here in 14 work days.......hope it comes soon!!!!!!!!

Just want to say that the material is nice and the screen print is good as well. Wish they had them in other colors and not just black.

yeah most def they got the highest quality t shirts out of every brand out there. Most def the best quality screen prints too. Lmac/retail yak!
now what i don't get is how they handscreen so many tees!!
I took a class in silkscreening 2 years ago and i ditched it after the 1st week, just looked too time consuming and too much hard work involved, i was reading an article that many handscreening places are now obselete and have changed to machines due to the save in time and overall costs.

doesn't LMAC get in trouble for using comic images? I worked for a company that used an image with a hint of this marvel character (that was redrawn) and they were served with a cease and desist order. Some of the LMAC designs are straight images from a comic.

i've seen this in the forum like 3 times regarding copyrights:
"Copyrighted material is not protected against parody, but parodying something doesn't protect you from a lawsuit." -My Pal the Crook
"if you're not a corporate company/brand no one will bother touching you. legal fees itself is too much. Just ask Mishka or LMAC they do shit load of copyrighted material.. there are so many other indy brands that do the same.. it's all about the jacks and flips.Another i guess is there's no one to point the finger too." - Jest

Also look at Mr Kostas Seremetis
*or i guess they all could have licensing agreements with Marvel?

I wouldn't lump Kostas with LMAC. Kostas reinterprets Marvel imagery for paintings. I would attribute what Kostas' art to what lichtenstein did.
I guess one of the reasons can be LMAC is in Asia. It's just like how Levi's doesn't go after all the Japanese repo companies.
The current company that I'm working for got a cease and desist order for something really dumb in regards to their branding. It's not even close to the other companies trademark. They said we infringed on a certain shape, which is far fetched. But both places I worked for are bigger companies.
I don't think that LMAC would have licenses with Marvel, Image and Dark Horse.
Stussy tried to go after Fresh Jive last year over a t-shirt. I guess it just depends on how big you are. Once you blow up, jacks and flips will be harder to do.

^ i think that really adds to the appeal of it, knowing it was done with the highest of quality from 1 crew/person ya know? i agree though, would suck for doing high volume runs...

totally agree :). I don't think Kosta's gets ceast and desist orders!! haa haa
but what about brands like Mishka, Crooks & Castle, Triumvir, etc i know they're many more.. i really guess then it's the size of the company.. Mishka are over here in the states as with many others and they just flipped a Judge Death and some others from the music scene. I agree when you grow bigger jacks and stuff will be much harder to do. Im so curious! What's the name of the company you work or worked for.. even a hint would do. haa ha.
For me it's that appeal i love, when i buy most of my jacked stuff, is that it was a dangerous thing for the company to do. My favourite i just copped has to be KMFDM by Mishka & SVSV x LMAC!!

anyone know more info? I'm guessin that's a Yakuza graphic. I love the message!

i asked what's up with my order and a request for the kumichou, why they dont put it on the site :) (got it).. damn their com is the best there is
Reason being they have stopped production of those designs and are only making them for their international store orders, so if they happen to be making the design this particular week they’ll just throw in a new production for a few lucky requests. All designs are capped at 200 – 300 pcs worldwide only. :)

Right Now, I work for a womens clothing company. It's not a very famous brand and they go for a mainstream aesthetic.
I agree with you on the jacked stuff, I love it when it references something I like. One of my favorite brands is Mishka, they do it the best IMO. If I had the money I'd cop every shirt from this season.
I really like the unleashed LMAC shirt. Le Messie uses a lot of my favorite comic book characters in his designs.
