What are you trying to say, that its a double standard, that black people cant wear monkeys on their shirt even if they think its fashionable. What if a mexican wears a dancing bean on their shirt. To them, its fashionable, and they dont care how narrow-minded other people are. So whatever your saying, it means nothing.

Sanrio is the company that owns the Hello Kitty brand.
If you are ever in Times Square they have a store on 42nd St. I went there not 2 long ago and they had the Baby Lisa/Hello Kitty colab. tee 4 sale.

Not in anything bigger than a size M. I wanted one 4 myself in XXL but the ppl working there looked at me like there was something wrong with me. I guess with their average customer being pre-teen jail bait I didn't quite fit in with their demographic IYKWIM. :-]
For all I know the Baby Lisa/Hello Kitty colab. t-shirt doesn't come in all sizes but just in little girl sizes.
If/when you go to the Sanrio shop you can find the shirt on the left hand side of the store hanging off a hook on the wall. At least that was where they were last time I checked. :-]

not to get all stiff..... but just playing devils advocate a bit here: a lot of black people feel as if we need to be more responsible about what we wear, what we support, because the circumstances of the blak diaspora are complicated as hell.
Maybe thats what son was getting at with the ribs and watermellons thing..not that only black people eat mellons but that pop racist culture associates that stuff with blak people so we should try and stay away from those images.
