OK quick recap on the lobster release. First of all thank you to all of you that either came out and waited and/or just came through to show support for the event. We def appreiciate all of our customers.

I know everyone has heard all the stories about the line, the package, the shoe, etc.... The one thing I wanted to share was some of the feedback we got from the people. The first 13 or so people were all NY heads. They were so impressed with how we treated the crowd/customers that they want to start coming all the way to Mass for their pick ups. These were hardcore sneaker heads that pretty much go toevery big release there is.... I mean dudes out there rocking 5's autographed by Gentry... Anyway they said the service they got here beat anywhere else they have been. They said most of the time employees dont even speak to them let alone take the time to thank them for coming. We got dudes food, gave them free stuff, chilled with them etc... They thanked us for making them feel appreciated.

How are you going to say that the Concepts release wasn't competing with Bodega? Lots of negative comments from the Concepts staff about Bodega. We went to Bodega after the release....they were super chill. Don't see what the problem is. Thanks for the lobster roll.....be back soon.

Thats funny that people are saying that staff was talking negative about Bodega. Deon, Jimmy, Adam, and I were all happy about the release. As a matter of fact I told a few reporters that I spoke to that day it was a a big day for Mass not just Concepts and I mentioned the Bodega release. I wrote under the Nike board Offfffficial Lobster dunk post that I was happy to hear Bodega's release went well too. I honestly think people want there to be an issue between the two spots for some reason. We are always asked "leading" questions about Bodega, Laced, Re-Up, and other spots in the city like we have a problem with them. Its all love between us and almost all the stores in the city.

I personally have not had the chance to meet any of the Bodega guys, but Aleco from Laced, and the Re-Up dudes are good people. I am sure the Bodega cats are much the same.

You cant believe everything you read on Hypebeast. There is plenty of room in this city for more than one sneaker spot. We (Concepts) want everyone to do well. Some of our best customers like TJXeno's go to both shops, and reps for both places.

So this coming from Concepts Staff there is no issue between us and anyone else..... Its all love.
