Alrite, I went to Laced. Now I am not trying to talk shit but when shit isnt right I gotta say something.

First off I know its the city but shit ripping people off like this is bullshit. Nike Tres $100-110. Dude, I can go to Eastern Boarder pick the same god damn shit up for $80-90. That's just not right charging extra on top of the amount your suppose to sell these for. These arent anything special either. Because I saw them at Eastern Boarder. I could see if they were limited.

Next seems like their shoe game is still lacking. Clothes saw a few things nothing major.

But one thing, I dont mean to sound all busy body like. But I overheard one of the guys. Pretty sure he is the owner. He was on the phone and heard him talking right before he stepped into the back area. And before he did he was saying lower than how he was talking earlier. About how new "heads were opening up" and how at first he was selling mad shit but now not so much.

Pretty much seemed like he was just stating how there is competition so obviously people will disperse to diff places. He was even saying a couple mins before how they get some skater kids but not all or some shit.

Well Im here to help Boston and the business. Especially if it will help me. Win-Win situation.

Here is some advice not only to Laced but all upcoming and new and old places.

Dont screw us over with prices just cus you can. Dont act all snobby just cus you think a customer doesnt deserve the shoe or item. Dont think your the only shop with the shit so can act how you want. And always stay on top releasing the newest shit at a very reasonable price.

Nike Tre's at $110 isnt gonna cut it.

Each shop has their shit. Especially the old shops like Concepts and Laced. So now that there is a bunch of other shops opening up I think the shop owners need to realize and open their eyes.

Johnny Cupcakes I am fine with it's just everytime I go in there they have no new designs. But it must be because everyone buys the shit first. I saw a nice Boston one they had but only had Triple XL. So i mean I'm not really hating on him.

Karmaloop on the other hand. I use to go there a lot. When they had good shit, now they still don't have any good kicks and their clothing is highly lacking. Unless you want some LRG jeans that place isn't really good. Also they got some good Stussy time to time.

But read what I stated above. Johnny Cupcakes is fine, just not feeling their designs a whole lot since it is repetitive. But apparently the new designs get sold out right away. So that is most likely why I keep seeing the same shit.

Again, KarmaLoop never has new good shit that I can't find at Laced. And Karmaloop has a huge online store and such. While Laced is just one shop. So I expect more from them. Especially considering I use to buy shit every week from them 2 summers ago.

Also, If Laced or especially Bodega with the crazy ass setup they have, were on Newbury street then they would be making more money aswell. But that comes at a cost.

Here is my initial reaction... Went to Karmaloop, Bodega, Johnny Cupcakes and some other shit stores like Hipzeppi, etc. Out of all of them, Bodega was the biggest disappointment. Ok, the snapple door is cool... thats' it. Karmaloop had no selection which I found odd because usually they represent but this past Sunday they sucked. Johnny cupcakes is dope! I love the store and I love their designs and they use American Apparel!!! To be honest I was disappointed at the end of the day. I live in Topsfield MA, but skate in New Hampshire every Thursday. My friend owns a shop in Portsmouth called Identity footwear and apparel. It's got the Boston stores beat by a long shot. They have a way bigger selection, way better service and it's not filled with rude trendy college kids, plus I get hooked up so I get Crooks, Hundreds, Rouge, Krew, Lrg, Etc etc for cheap. I didn't have time to check out Laced, it's on my list for next time.

Bodega is definitely the sickest concept for a store. The clothes they carry are pretty good but the sneaker collection is awful. Every time I go, they don't have shit for sneakers; atleast Nike. When they first opened, they had a ton of dope shit.
Best spot for kicks is tied between Laced and Concepts....no where else is really even on their level. Plus, they both carry a great collection of clothes too. Lab, Reup and AWOL are all pretty dope for clothes too, imo.

i made my first visit to the re-up today and i have to say everything was on point. The shop was clean and had a nice layout. They still had a whole bunch of shit still 70% off from black friday. If they could get a couple sneaker accounts, then this would easily be my favorite shop in boston.

I agree. Bodega only has the shoes and eh, sometimes the hoodies. But for shirts, forget it, they all suck, and are mostly in XL. RE-UP is getting some nasty stuff in.

The refs were inconsistent in that they let the Ravens get away with a lot of downfield contact for the first three quarters and then finally started to call it during the fourth quarter. I think the Ravens would have allowed more points otherwise.
