In this case less is more in a sense that that 37 will prob cover your next batch of shirts, but is not too many that everyone will know you as the label that spells words wrong on your shirts. Take that loot you made off the 37 make a new batch or a new design and scrap the wrong shirts. Trust me integrity goes a long way..... You might lose out on a few dollars, but it will pay off in the long run.

Any one ever been to the hong kong restaurant in Cambridge, right before harvard square? Hit the comedy club tonight 3rd floor, it was a two hour show with some local talent but was definitely a good look. 6 bucks for students and 8 for general admission. Eat some good ass Chinese food, drink up and have some laughs any night of the week starting at 8 o clock. They got some dance, club type of shit in there too on the second floor. Oh ya stopped in karmaloop yesterday and it was looking pretty good, a lot different than it previously had looked. Good shit tho, i like how stores have been upgrading and keeping up, like the new concepts and karmaloop, its all about good business for the bean.

I think karmaloop screwed themselves over by going to Newbury Street. They are going to need to update the place pretty frequently maybe not every year and maybe not as big as they did it just now.

but being that they are on newbury street where places come and go and people will get bored with your store if its not "new and fresh" you gotta always be able to draw em in.

but they must be making enough money to be still on newbury street and renovated the place.

Fact is that Bodega is not putting Concepts out of business, and vice versa. Everything that is done right by either store in my opinion only makes the market (Boston) stronger. We have people that are Concepts die hards that will be at Bodega when they drop that Boston Adidas, and that's dope to me. Everybody eats....

Fact is that Bodega is not putting Concepts out of business, and vice versa. Everything that is done right by either store in my opinion only makes the market (Boston) stronger. We have people that are Concepts die hards that will be at Bodega when they drop that Boston Adidas, and that's dope to me. Everybody eats....

There are never any questions that go unanswered and there are constantly updates on here. Laced use to post up a lot of the new stuff they would get in and some info about it, and Ive never seen a post from Bodega in here, but they still stay on their grind. They do have that bodega email thing where they give you slight updates, but it still amazes me that more people, (most people that have just hopped on the wagon) consider bodega to be on top. The hype of bodega grew crazy and everyday they are constantly packed, even regular days with lines. Although Bodega definitely keeps it coming with product, they don't offer the variety or prices that concepts does. Most of the time ill go into bodega and they'll have a select few pieces on display, hoodies/shirts/ never jeans and some shoes, while you know at concepts when u go there wat to expect and wat ur interested in already, when I go to concepts I know it wont be a wasted trip and ill always pick something up. I've never been a fan of karmaloop except for some of the time they got some alright sale stuff and laced has some good gear at about average prices but their kicks are overpriced.

I drive a bus on a tv show and in a movie. On the serious tip I get cake via Management/Consulting/hustling kicks/hustling records/pickups in conjunction with hookups or sales. And for what its worth, The Escape AF2s and the Aegean/Thunderstorm deltas were picked up used and the flights were picked up at the concepts buy one get one sale (where I got 3 pair for $145 by doing a pickup for a coworker).

As for the ugliness, I'm guessing you don't like some of the models? Aside from the P rods and the Deltas, those shoes are all clean. Admittedly the flights would look better without the flash (3m tongue). And the assaults are waterproof and were worn thursday afternoon for the monsoon.

edit: Not fucking with automobiles makes it a lot easier to afford kicks too.

Since the US doesnt produce a hell of a lot of oil, that means more money generated by the us economy going to other nations that do produce lots of oil. Now the free market types will say "well if we're buying in dollars they have to either sit on the dollars and not actually enrich themselves or else they have to spend the money in america, putting the money back into the american economy", but I believe this has been proven phallacy by the cost of oil remaining relatively constant in non-US currencies while the trading price has increased (because its measured in dollars). ie oil producing nations have managed to devalue the dollar by demanding more of them for a barrel while selling the barell for a constant amount of euros/yen/whatever.

In essence opec is making enough cake they have no reason to increase production, as they dont care who buys their oil, consumers or speculators. They're getting paid the same either way. However if the US releases its reserves and floods the market, prices will drop (like if a bunch of people get foreclosed and theres more houses on the market than buyers all of a sudden), and the speculators' biggest fear is a price drop and a loss on their investment.

I agree with speculation being one of the root causes of the higher gas prices...honestly it should be banned. Because a lot of the guys specualting in news papers and such have stocks in many oil companies.

They write an article of how oil will reach $150 a barrel next week and then it does. Shit like that should not be allowed, it is creating hype that is not needed.

I do not agree with off shore drilling. It honestly will not have an impact for us. It will take upto 10 years until Americans even see any changes. And the estimated price reduction would be .10 cents or less.

Gas prices arent rising due to the supply side of things at all, its 100% demand related, some analysts say 50% or more of oils prices is based solely on speculation. There was a bill that was supposed to be review in Congress last week that would not allow speculation on futures. Of course thats not going to fly with all the big oil companies, so the lobby machine pays off/"convinces" whoever it needs to and shit does not pass. The other part of the rise is that consumption aint going down, mutherfuckers are still moving to weston, dover, hingham etc...

My Dad is one of the head repairmen for the Red Line and we get into this kind of discussion about public transportation v. cars all the time. Sure the subway is great if you live in the relative downtown of the city, but most of the time you can just walk where you need to go, at least from south end to charlestown area. And for those times when you need to go some place less traveled, the bus system isnt that great, and shit is just really spread out. The "suburban sprawl" as was said has a great deal to do with the prices of gas, like i said before. People spread out and need their 1 acre, buffer/privacy zone from the neighbors...

I can contrast that with the experiences I am having here in China. Prices are around 6.00 RMB per litre, so not too much less than US prices, but people still survive just fine! Cars are relatively plentiful, but the majority are small and manual transmission. There are many taxis and an incredible bus system in the city where I am staying, but i have seen Shanghai's subway and it is equally encompassing and impressive. Yet even a verry generous approximation of per capita GDP in urban areas at $2000 USD and businesses are still flourishing and the economy is growing. That alone is another article in itself, but back to the oil issue. People are smart, they plan their days, they do not go for a "leisure drive," they move close to their work, or where it is easily accessible via public transportation.

The US is going to eventually get their head out of their asses, when most of the suburban fucks realize they actually have to pay that looming credit card bill that keeps accruing interest. They will have to figure out what is straining their budget and cut that out. An easy move would be to sell their big ass suburban house, and their aptly named "Suburban" SUV and move to a place closer to public transportation and pay off their debts. This is gonna be a painful period of transition, but the sooner it happens, the sooner the US can get back on track, we don't want to go the way of the UK...

Or we can find a way to split atoms for power...

+1, we have to remmeber it was and to many still is the "American Dream" to have a good job, decently sized house in a nice neighborhood with your own yard and such.

Jason bay will be fine. Hell hit 30 homers, bat 290, and knock in 100. But he wont put up Manny like numbers. And we traded our set up man of the future.
