its funny, cause the threads on top of the ape head is one thing to look for in an authentic bape product.

When will they learn that they must not remove the tags from the NYC store only.

The real issue I have with it is that they should do it at all of their stores. All of the stores should have the same policy. I find it unfair that New Yorkers are the only ones that have to deal with this.

im glad they have that policy, makes it more difficult for gay ass resellers to buy what i want

As far as the tags being removed at BWS SOHO, it seems to me that it is not done 100% percent of the time.

2 out of the last 3 times I bought stuff there they didn't remove the tags but none of the items were hoodies. I have seen ebay auctions recently that have been started after the new policy went in2 effect that had tags attached.

If they (BWS SOHO management) think that by removing the tags it is going to stop the resellers I think that they are only fooling themselves. I don't buy 2 resell but I still want the tags. Like a previous poster stated it isn't done at the other BWS locations so they shouldn't do it at BWS SOHO.

Then they should do this at all their stores.

Everyone overseas resells with the tags. The tags allow people to feel a bit more comfartable when they buy them.

I gave a shirt as a gift this year and without the tag it made a bad impression.

how does it make things more difficult for resellers?? no tags does not hurt
the resell value.

It's just a silly policy only for the NY store. Resellers will buy the hyped items regardless of tags or not. Very pointless in my opinion.

When I buy items at a store I expect tags. If I went to the Adidas store and bought some sneakers and they removed the tags i would be pissed.

If you got a gift without tags on the shirt would you put the shirt into question?

I agree with all of you....i dont like my tags being removed....i kinda collect them to give me count of how many bape clothing i have.

At BWS SOHO they almost always remove the paper price/i.d. tags that are attached to the merchandise. Their logic is that if they remove the tags it will stop the resellers from buying stuff 2 flip on Ebay. All this acomplishes is that people put in their auctions is that the tag was removed at the store. I think it is pretty much common knowledge by now that this is what goes on there so I don't think it scares off the Ebay buyers who are in the know about such things.

If I was Nigo I would be more concerned with the incredible amount of Fape merchandise out there than I would be about the small minority of peeps who buy to resell. At least the resellers bought the stuff from Bape in the 1st place. Ebay not doing anything about the literally 100's of auctions for Fape hoodies/hats/t-shirts/etc. is another topic entirely.

So the threads not showing behind the ape is a surefire way to spot fakes?

Because I have two bape tees...and only one of my tees has the stitching showing like his..so the other one is fake? :(

Nevermind...I see it now, I was scared..it's a black tee and it was a little harder to see...it's there.

The last time I did a search on Ebay I would honestly say that over 80% of the BAPE hoodies being offered were Fape(s).

I don't know if it is that people r 2 cheap 2 buy the real deal or they r 2 stupid 2 know the difference. I'm sure it is a combination of the two but I would hesistate to break it down 2 percentages between the 2 groups.

I wouldn't buy/wear Fape gear no matter how cheap it was. It's 2 big a dis on Nigo or any designer 4 that matter IMO.
