Thats wasup, you can get like a dozen tees plus a pair of nice denim with that type of paper. Good Luck and think before you buy, don't just hop on the train, find your own "HB" style.

Wait for your kicks, get clothes first.

Oh man. 300 dollars. You have to understand that shoe's basically close the deal when it comes to hypebeasting and 300 bucks won't be helpful towards shoes but if you want to start. You're only 13 so yeah, kids at your school will be amazed to see stuff like Stussy/LRG/Orisue, etc. www.karmaloop.com

There is this one kid who wears LRG and dunk/jordans every freakin day. But yeah, I been looking around and most people here seem to like APC, Gap, and Levi jeans. correct? About shoes, I usually wear Adidas shoes, but Vans and Air Maxes are cool.

one question?? how many pairs of jeans do you guys own???

Buy what looks good to you. With 300 bucks u could buy some Levis 501 or 1 APC. Stock up on $20 tees like Stussy/LRG/Hundreds what ever looks good to you. buy some vans vault sk8 hi those are pretty cool or authentics pretty cheap. I only got 2 am90s (huf clerk and infared) which i wear alot. when u get more cash buy some hoodies. i just got a stussy jacket and a big LRG jacket (discount because winter is like almost over) fits good.

First of all, you should wear anything that looks good on you despite what the brand is.
You should go with the product that fits you the best,
you might wanna buy some Levi's but then again some H&M jeans might fit you better, so remember to look around before you spend all of your money on one expensive T-Shirt, don't get caught up in the brand hype...
Make sure to check out all the on going sales/outlets coz you can find something nice to wear for cheap.
Mix up your style, you're still young so take advantage of that, don't feel shy to mix different colours together.
Think of your favourite colours and try to match em together.
If you wanna buy jeans for a decent price, I suggest you should look into someskateboarding brands such as Volcom, DC, Matix, Element etc. the quality of their denim is pretty good and you'll have no problem finding the sizes that fit you perfectly.
If you got any questions, you can send me PRIVATE MAIL anytime!
Good luck kid,
ps. tell us what you got once you copped something,
Peace out!

Fashion is like knowledge, it never goes out of style!

There are no rules, and there is no starter kit. Just simply buy the brands you like.

You're not stepping onto another planet.

Also, you should start doing thing to earn money like washing cars and other odd jobs. Because you'll find that it is hard to keep your wardrobe were you want it with no money, unless your parents by everything for you.

so u guys never wear shorts? also i like caliroots website but everything cost alot.

Of course people on here wear shorts. I wear shorts for most of the year. The people who don't just live in more jean-tolerable climates. Where I live it's hot all year round, like yesterday it was about 38C or 100F and it's not even summer. I usually only wear jeans when I'm going out at night or in the middle of winter.

You should get some LRG jeans because I bought a bunch of pairs back in 03, and all of them are still in great condition. LRG jeans have a more baggy fit, so I bet you'll like them. When I used to buy LRG jeans they were about $50-60 per pair. I'm not sure how much they run now. When you get your parents to drive you to SF, go to TRUE and Stussy on Haight Street, Recon on Powell, and Huf on the corner of Sutter and Jones. I live up in Sacramento, so I go down to SF at least once a month to do some shopping.

I remember when I was 13...300 bucks was going straight to the videogame collection

as far as shoes...go with vans, since they are cheap (at 13, you never know if your foot got more growing to do) and dont look too bad when they are dirty.

t-shirts are t-shirts, I prefer LRG, Hundreds, 3 sixteen, 10 deep, nike. The common denominator for me is that its no more than 30 bucks, they are nice graphics with workable colors. There no shame in on sale t's either.

Can't give you serious suggestions beyond that point, for everything else you should buy what looks cool to you.

I'm 13 too and I want a hypebeast starter kit &) just j/k but yea just buy w/e you think looks nice... You could buy brands for now like Stussy (which I think is nice). It's pretty affordable too at like $25us a tee, $90us a hoody. As for denim I think you should wait until you know more about jeans, because you'll probably end up buying a pair of jeans that you'll regret buying later on :P If you read more you'll find out that with some brands, $300 is just enough to buy one pair of jeans. But if you decide you still want to buy some denim, then go with Levis LVC, APC, or Nudies, as they're the cheaper high end stuff.

karmaloop.com is the best place. if i were you right now i would just get some plain inexpensive pant, vans, and shirts like LRG, orisue, artful dodger (meybe), stussy, the seventh letter. And on karmaloop you can find a 20 percent off code easily from just about anyone. ill post mine later

I don't know how tall you are but usally for a 13 year old it is hard to find denim in your size. so I wouls stick to a couple of tees, a nice hoodie, and a pair of shoes. get the denim later

I actually don't think it's hard to find denim in my size (I'm 13 years old), and I'm a short asian kid at like 5''2 to 5''3... |0 But then again, you might have a growth spurt and your $$$ jeans won't fit you :P

He means because most selvedge jeans are around 34"-36" length, which would be too long for a short kid like you.

You're right about the length issue, but you could always hem them at a jean's store (that's what I'm gonna do when I get my samurai s5000vx at 36'' length :o ).
