yea I went to tokyo last november and almost every man had some sort of handbag which is completely normal over there

every where i went people would look at me like they were thinking why doesnt he have a handbag

theyre just so fucking inconvenient. yea, i know you have lots of stuff to carry nowadays so i can understand needing a bag, but get a backpack or something with straps. handbags will always take up at least one of your hands so it really limits what you can do easily.

Im 26, soon to be 27.. I dont have a shirt and tie 9-5 but Id still feel a little dumb rocking a backpack to work. ESPECIALLY since i look like im 19 anyway.

i think Its pretty common in the asian culture i think to carry hand bags/totes/clutches i remeber in the early 90's seeing a lot of asian men carrying clutches.
