Shrinking A Hoodie

I recently bought a white and black polka dot krew hoodie. and i was wondering what is the best way to shrink it for a better fit. I was looking for a small but all they had left was a medium. its mainly the side part. i would like it to be a little bit tighter fit. if anyone could give me advice or any best techniques to do this. it would be very much appreciated

put it in the dryer,wsh in hot water with a lol starch the color loss is minimal

either hot wash and hot dry or take it to a tailor. pretty much your only options.
