Hey someone today at school mentioned this place to me since they know I like sneakers, but havent heard much about it here on the forums. Anyone have any info on it and is it worth a visit or no?

It's a good store, heavier on the Vans and Adidas than Nike but it's literally only a couple blocks from the other major shops in the immediate area (DQM, Recon/Nort, Supreme, Transit, etc etc) so if you're already out that way you may as well stop by there and check it out.
