Yo, I'm looking to cop a new watch. My limit is 1000$. What's new and interesting, but at the same time nice. Bling is okay - but not too much. I got a few watches in mind already, but i dont want to make a decision until i people throw me their ideas. Probably som really nice watches out their that i have not even seen yet cause i dont know to search for them. Let me know your thoughts.

That's a pretty nice watch. Keep it in mind. I am looking for something just a little bit more unique - doesn't have to be ugly, but i dont want it to look like all the other watches out there. Seems like no one wants to help a brother out.

This is the watch my wife got me for our wedding. Breitling are by far the best imo (although a bit more than $1000).

Yeah, check out the Breitling site. They have nice watches, but they are a little out of my price range. Also, i checked out the Nixon website. I owned a Nixon for just like an everyday watch before. I never knew that they had watches for a solid Grand. They a pretty nice watches too. However, i would never spend that kind of money on a Nixon watch. Seiko seems to be a solid pick. They have designs i like, and they a pretty decently priced. Any other recommendations?

While I agree Invicta makes some cool looking watches for the money (and supposedly they are decent quality) you do realize they sell them at the Slauson Supermall and places like that?

I don't know about NY, but on the west coast you buy Invicta's at the same place you buy grillz at :)

Yea. I actually own a yellow lorica dragon which is pretty nice, but its dissapointing that Invicta has started selling at the swapmeet and QVC and stuff.

They do make one watch though called the sapphire ghost that I really like. Goes for about 1-2k depending on the diamonds setup. Invisible style that shows the gears and stuff...Swiss movement.

haha nah I'm just saying that all the silver watches posted look tacky and unsophisticated and if it weren't for the name, they really wouldn't stand out at all

I must say, if you can be frivolous to spend that much on a watch then you are heavy ballin'.

But $1000 could be spent so much better.

I think a $1000 watch that will last the lifetime of the owner (and beyond) is a lot less frivolous than all the $300 hoodies and whatnot floating around this site.

That Breitling could easily be passed down to the dudes son and then to his grandson if they wanted to play the heirloom game.

I really doubt you are ever going to hear the words "yea man this was my grandpas hot pink camouflage sweatshirt that he wore as a kid".

This guy knows. That watch will be in the family for generations, making the $3000+ price tag look small if you think of the years of wear it will get.

Dude, you guys have awesome feedback! Brands i would never have even heard of if not for you guys. I really like the unique stuff cause that is totally my style. I cant stand it when everyone is rocking the same stuff. The watches are nice, but nothing is yet to catch my eye to the point where i wont have to make the decision to buy the watch because i will know its the one when i see it. Keep it coming guys. Thanks!
