Some tees are big enough and not that colorful so you can do a standard wash and dry but for others that fit just right and you do not want to lose any of the color. What do you guys do for this? Hang dry a bad idea?

Woolite black for dark colors. The only white tees I wear is from Kirkland Costco, and I just chuck those with my others.

Don't even wash them, I personally think its been about 4 or 5 years maybe longer since i washed a t-shirt. I wear undershirts with EVERYTHING and I don't really wear t's I like to do things I would get sweaty or dirty doing. Maybe It's because I own a ridiculous amount of t's but even when i was in high school i remember i wouldn't wash them either. BUT if I do, inside out, cold wash, hang dry is the best way to go

yup inside out , cold wash. i pop it in the dryer on air dry (no heat) for like 30 minutes just to get it a little bit dryer before i hang it on the coathangers. works everytime for me, and keeps my tshirts looking new, and doesnt lose shape.
