Wait...you're the one denying that LRG ever sold out and defending the brand...and now you're acting like 10Deep is played???? that's pretty retarded considering LRG is a mall brand. i'm pretty sure that was your stance anyway...my bad if i got it twisted

You cannot be serious with that. 10 deep is becoming huge all over everyone is wearing it. If you cant buy something of a company without a gang of people having the same thing then the company is no longer underground and that my friend is 10 deep.

i personally liked the egyptian line. Well not all of it, i got the blue nefertiti shirt, and i tried getting one of the Tut fitteds. But i was too late. The tut crewnecks were disgusting though, i didnt like the pyramid all-over print or whatever the hell it was either.

some of yall are fucking retarded.
10 deep isnt a new company. so when most of us were getting on their shit back a year ago or two, the ones that knew and rocked 10 deep in the early phases of the company were looking at us the same way the way you look at these people that are just catching on. this is proof to me that most of you guys rock shit because its "rare" and "exclusive" and not because you actually like the shit. nothing youre going to buy is EVER going to be exclusive enough for you to not run into. you swear if you owned a brand, you would only make 100 copies of each item just so the 100 people who buy it will feel cool that no one else has the same shit. get the fuck out of here. you want some exclusive shit, go make your own shit. otherwise, stop bitchin. Im not sayin Im loving the fact that its gaining popularity, but Im not one who lets the unimportant shit overshadow the overall fact of whether I like a product or dont.

if you want a level of exclusivity above 10 deeps you gonna have to pay more money
with that being said, even as big as 10 deeps gotten its still extremely small within the fashion world

rasclaatt.. i know youre a smart guy judgin from your posts so i will give you the benefit of the doubt and i will not play the internet tough guy role cuz thats just silly.. but i only said 10 deep is played out ,,, never said they sold out.. I love LRG cuz i have liked outwear as in their windbreakers and esp they jacket i have which looks like a cardhartt.
i simply feel 10 deep is played out but they have not sold out - the latter being what others were sayin bout lrg.... bottom line
i am all for ten deep making paper but i no longer wish to wear it when everyone has it.. the only thing whcih intrigues me about streetwear is it exclusivity.. since that is gone for ten deep... i no longer wish to have it.. i must agree with you and say that ten deep has become another mall brand

i do not agree that 10 deep has become another mall brand. To me, 10 deep still remains relatively underground compared to other urban brands out there which you can find at macy's and such. Unless you're talking about boutiques and their increased inventory, i do not know what they're talking about. Yes, you do see these brands being rocked on TV and in day to day exchanges, but that is inevitable seeing as how nothing hot stays underground for very long. Think about the millions of people who were outraged when Nigo made it big and they couldn't cop their T-shirts out on the street and now have to pay a gazillion percent more. All i'm saying is that you're not the only person in the whole world that knows about small time brands, people are going to wear what you wear, accept the compliments you get and move on. Its only clothes.

heh, in a way i love living in new hampshire... i could rock an LRG shirt and people would be like hmm thats pretty different. And when i rock 10 deep, and crooks shit people are like OH MAN WHAT IS THAT?!?!?!? and again its one of those "dont worry its sold out anyhow" situations... I guess thats the only benefit of NH, other than that it isnt that great.... hahaha

come to London. You won't see crooks or 10 deep here at all really. I've only ever seen one person rocking a 10 deep hoody and NO ONE ever rock Crooks. Although i know some UK members own a few items from those brands.

lol this is funny, I still think 10 deep stuff is pretty exclusive! the sheer production numbers really insure that as it is a small brand, not mass produced like that. I live in NYC so i see people with the shit on here and there, but thats cause I live in NYC, but in da hood i dont see people with this shit on at all. everyday i step out the house rockin heat i get asked where i got my 10 deep stuff from, by far i get best reactions from there stuff, so that says something i guess.................

Honestly, who cares.
1 - 10 deep is not underground
2- if you like them why not support them...you not gonna buy them because they are not "exclusive"? Who really gives a shit? Just support dope shit.
3- 10 deep has been around for 10 years, plus.

Where the hell are you all living where 10 deep and crooks are played out... I've lived in Boston and Philly and spent a lot of time in New York and rarely see anyone else wearing streetwear brands unless I'm in a sneaker boutique or maybe at a hip-hop concert. Anyway, why don't you just buy what you find aesthetically appealing instead of worrying about exclusivity, you really think you're gonna run into another person wearing your 10 Deep Splatter hoody at the next party you're at? And whoever said their friends see mad people at clubs wearing 10 deep... wtf kinda clubs are they at, I've never really seen streetwear at clubs, maybe that's a NY thing i dunno... Ask yourself this, if you mention 10 deep to 10 of your friends odds are 9 or 10 out of 10 of em won't know wtf you're talking about and I'm sure none of the people you chill with will be rocking the same shit you got on.

Whoa. Thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt. Play whatever role you like...I'm not scurrrred. That said, I hear what you're saying about 10 Deep...but I never said they were a mall brand. I said LRG was a mall brand...and I was just wondering how you could on the one hand have love for LRG (which is completely played in my opinion, on top of bein a mall brand) and then at the same time diss 10 Deep (which I still think is relatively slept on, just gettin a lot of hype in this community). All good tho, everyone's entitled to their opinion obviously. I can understand not wanting to wear the same shit everyone else wears, taht's exactly where i'm comin from...

I just came home to VA to visit my family for Thanksgiving. I got picked up wearing my bermuda crack hoody. First thing my sister says to me is, "Did you get that at Up Against The Wall?", and my brother asks me "Is that Shmack?". They are 13 and 10 years old, respectively. I took the shit off and gave it to my brother.

Way to have your siblings dictate what you wear. Why would you take a 10 year old's opinion that seriously, is he a fashion conniseur? And so what if they ask if you got something at Up Against hte Wall, do you expect them to ask if you got it at some obscure sneaker boutique that 99.5% of ppl don't what about?

Why are some of y'all tryna get on some exclusive ish when you're not some baller. If you want exclusive, go get Gucci, Versace, Armani or whatever to make you a 1 of 1 and pay top dollar.
Instead you payin like maybe 1 or 2 bills for a hoody and tryna think that's gonna make you exclusive? Puhleaze, buying some hoody isn't going to make you special. When you rock a brand, you rock it because you support the brand and feelin the designs they puttin out. Not having many people with the same hoody as you is part of the appeal, but that's just stupid when you think a design is hot, then you find out what the brand is and won't rock it because it's not that exclusive.

it seems like a lot of ppl here are the same as the ones you would call "music snobs"
once like an underground artist gets popular or whatever they get mad and say he sucks or say "i've known him since the beginning"
who cares..if it's good it's good

I don't buy things because they're hyped, and this hoody is one of the very few "hyped" items that I've owned. I bought it online because I liked the design, and figured that since it's so loud and obscure (so I thought), I shouldn't have to worry about seeing the next man and his cousin both wearing it when I go out. My sister knew where it came from, because she saw them at Up Against The Wall.
Now, do I care about if someone is wearing the same shoes or shirt as me? Fuck no. Do I care if someone is wearing the same extremely loud, brightly colored hoody as me? Yes. It would look absolutely ridiculous. I'm perfectly aware that everyone on Hypebeast probably owns this hoody in 3 different sizes in every colorway, but when I step off the plane into a new state and a 10 and 13 year old instantly recognize what I thought was somewhat unique, it's time to put it away.

It sounds like you guys are mad because you either missed the drops, or you paid $300 for a hoody in the For Sale section. Well wipe your tears children, because from now on you'll all be able to get them at the mall. You can even leave the store in a formation, showing off to the world how great all-over print hoodies look when multiple people are wearing them.
