no matter what, shaq still commands double and even triple teams. yao is soft, he rarely goes hard, gets blocked by 5'9 guys (lol). he barely averages double digits in rebounds. everyone plays better when shaq is on the floor. yes shaq is older, he is injured but when he is healthy and playing no center is better. yao is weak, he will never live up to his hype. there will be another better center to come along when shaq retires and he will take shaqs spot before yao is undisputed best center. i predict andrew bynum to be that man.
yes yao is healthy and shaq isnt but wade and the heat would not have looked good or won the trophy without shaq.

um.....not my squad...true Kobe, Wade, and Bron are 3 of the best, but how bout a legit point for yo squad? u gonna have kobe bring the ball up? so.............whos scoring?
Amare is tight and all, but over Garnet? have u seen the way he and the suns play without nash?
and good ol' shaq...literally..shaq now is nowhere near as good as yao.

^I still say Shaq is STILL better, even now.
Shaq is still dominant just cause of his sheer size.
Just a shift of his big arse at the post can make anyway fly
He still attracts the triple teams which evidently makes his team
and teammates better. Did I mention he's still a dominant rebounder?
Yao isn't one the best rebounders either.
Not only that, Shaq has won quite a few rings which may prove something, even with the help of Kobe and Wade.
Yao's got T-Mac and they haven't turned out to be one of the formidable guard/center tag-teams that everyone predicted when he got traded to Houston.
But, this is just my view on things...

well, if t-mac and yao has the chance to actually play together for more than half a season....since t-mac came, its always one that gets injured. this year, rockets doin pretty good without yao, but imagine wat might happen if both of them are healthy for a whole year.
next, shaq is one of the most dominant centers still, but yao is double teamed as well, although he doesnt rebound quite as well, the difference is prolly about 2 rebounds only...but look at the point production of yao.

edit: by the way, i think in about another year, i would seriously consider dwight howard over shaq, but i have to see how much dwight has improved. dwight is a beast.

damn, totally forgot bout dirk. damn hard to decide between dirk or garnet. think i would go with garnet cuz, ignoring the stats of the two, he will most likely be the one that will make a play that would inspire his team. besides i think if garnet guarded dirk, dirk would not have a good game and we all know dirk cant guard garnet
