Krew Hoody: New Little Info

Well just got back from my local skate shop. Was trying to look for some Morks possibly but apprently the guy said Nike sends them stuff whenever.

But I then asked him about the TK designed Krew hoodies he said december. And apparently he just recently stopped but was working with or for Krew for the last 9 months. And he gave me a little info saying that the hoodies are being made by the exact same company that makes the Bape hoodies. So basically same stuff but for sure not $200 price tag.

Found that to be interesting not sure if that was known yet? I've read threads before on Krew here and didn't see it mentioned.

It's not that big of a deal but just shows how overly hyped stuff can be overpriced considering Bape's go for a hell of a lot more than the about $60 price tage the Krew's will be going for.

But also wanted to ask if anyone knew any online shops or places that were getting it sooner. Kind of dont want to wait till December.

My in-laws ordered several items for my brother in-law. As they are in Sweden they had them delivered to my house in Washington. Half the items did not arrive. The credit card was charged imediately, not as the item ships as required by law. My Mother inlaw tried contacted Skate America. They do not allow phone calls. You must submit an e-mail and trust good faith that they will call you back. Picture a San Diego based company calling Sweden. I had to locate a sister company via Governemnt sources in order to obtain a phone number and extension to request a credit.

The rep could not give me a confirmation number for a refund but assured me that one was given. We are now waiting for the credit card report to see if we recieved credit. Horrible business practices. I place orders all day long for 16 years and have never seen the likes. Skate America should have their Business Liscence revoked.

have mentioned SA is listed as an on-line
retailer at the KR3W site so consider this - a few
gripes on a review site doesn't necessarily mean

No, not at all. Kr3w can not be held accountable for stating that Skate America is one of their retailers which it is. And just because Skate America may have some shitty customer service or sometimes may rip people off. In what way is the Kr3w's fault? I am sure if they were emailed and told that Skate America isn't that reputable or safe then they might possibly remove it from their list but in no way are they to blame.

Unless Kr3w was saying buy from Skate America more so than our other retailers then yes Kr3w was telling the buyers to buy from them so might then have some sort of fault.

But anyways I don't see why you guys are so excited and jumping on this. They are nice hoodies yes but it is Kr3w not the hundreds. They wont make only 100 of the hoodies knowing they can charge a good amount or create hype. I garuntee my local skate shop will not sell out and will probably have quite a few at first.

And hey if the major reputable online shops (CSS, Active) Sell out for any reason and you cant find a skate shop that carries it I would be happy to get you one from my local skateshop. Or if there are any international people etc.

Also very true. To the many saying you have never heard of this. You probably have never heard of or heard little of Kr3w before recently. Skate America has been around for quite some time now.

Would I buy from it? No. Mainly because although it has been around for sometime it for some reason was never able to gain popularity like CSS or Active and therefore kind of makes me not want to buy. I feel more secure with CSS and Active.

Truthfully I'd say don't worry something happens get your money back simple as that.


But We should really start trying to get this thread back on track about the hoody and other Kr3w apparel.

Back to the topic at hand does anyone have any info on the green hoody or the yet to be seen white one? I would love to cop the green and the white sounds interesting. It would be great to get 3 hoodies for around 180 dollars.

Has anyone here emailed Skate America and gotten a reply? I just emailed them a few minutes ago, and I hope I get a reply. I figured I am not going to bother to try to cancel my order, but I emailed them to see if they can change the size on my order. I just recieved my reply email back from Skate America today. So who knows maybe they aren't scammers after all. They replied within the 48hr. period as promised. I had requested they change the size on my order from Large to Medium, and they replied back and told me it wasn't a problem, and that they had changed it for me.

$180 is a lie. And I also highly doubt Nordstrom would even carry Krew products period. Nordstrom is an upscale store, they only sell upscale brands. There is nothing that Krew sells that is upscale, they are aimed toward a totally different market of people than what Nordstrom is targeting.

I personally am a skater I have been involved for quite some time now. But recently only last month or so I havent skated much since i broke my 3rd deck in 2 months but truthfully corporations and stoes and brands dont see a specific buyer. Majority of them want to sell the item. Ok it may say skate or die but what if you are interested and love the skate scene you may not skate or may not be good at it but you love the essence and the whole idealism of the skate scene that right there in my mind makes it fine to wear the gear.

Dude is not going to say where he got it from, he just wants us to go gawk at the hoodies. It doesn't matter though, I talked to a Kr3w rep from pharmacy skateboards and he said they have been released already, but they didn't expect the hoodies to be so popular so they didn't ship that many out, he basically said whoever owns one in October happend's to be one of the lucky one's, so expect the black/multi and the green/multi to be restocked in mid november. He also said the white/multi one is dropping in early December along with the "Too Live" belts, so be on the lookout.

That is true to some extent. Like i stated before if Bape wasnt hyped up as much as it is and they didnt use the selling tactics they do then their hoodies would be a much lower price. Little quick post about Kr3w using the same factory as the Bape does for Hoodies. This is a practice that happens all the time, I wouldn't be surprised if most of the brands we know and love don't share factories. See, the brands have nothing to do with the factories, they are independant, and most of the brands deal through an Agent, who represents the factories interest in the US. He's in sales just like the brands are, pushing their the factories he represents to the brands.

Thursdays at the Magic Show, early morning, and you would only know this if you work for a brand, cause why would you be up at 8am in the morning in Vegas? Thursday moring, you can hear the squeek of wheeled suit cases across the convention hall, as the invasion of factory Agents invade the show. they are so thick, you have to beat them off with a stick. Everyone is a basic hustle, just asian or indian or pakistani, they all say what you want to hear, we can make this, we make these brands..and they all say the same thing.

Give you a for instance, our Jeans are being made at the Diesel factory. Of course they will be different, but same folks. It's all in what washes, zippers, stitch, lining, trims, fabrics, how you cut costs or increase costs that determine the quality.

Yea my shop stated a long time ago that 65-70 sounds right for the price. If they are any higher I will point out to them that all sites are 70 and under. Im sure they will lessen the price atleast for me for pointing that out maybe they wont lower it to the other kids who dont know any better.

i called them yesterday cuz i wanted to kno tha shippinG status of my tk hoodie as well, they said that they have 2 shipments that r cominG in, one is this week thats like 140 hoodies or sumthinG then when they receive those they r beinG shipped out on november 26 or sumthinG then tha second shipment is goinG to be biGGer and their shippinG those out on a lil later date, they said their first 2 shipments that r goinG out this month are like 400 tk hoodies total, i told them that i was one of tha first people to order one off their site and they told me that i should be in tha first shipment then, hope this helped u guys out

Their feedback is horrible on ripoffreport and reviewcentre, hopefully theyve changed. to see the shipping date you have to re add the hoodie to your cart and there should be a yellow box saying it. GaSp what size did your friend get?
