why would you buy a snowboarding jacket from a non-boarding line? snowboard brands lay it down with tech'd features and are definately better than non-board specific lines.
but i guess as people mentioned, idiom/burton has their foot in the streetwear scene.

a jacket is a jacket, im just looking for really nice designed one that will keep me warm on the top of the mountain. but i've been researching burton, pretty nice stuff. anyway know if they have a store in SoHo, i remember going once but i get confused. im tired of all this north face bullshit otherwise i woulda got one of thsoe, but there played out and not worth the money.

the thing it isn't 'just a jacket' if you're using it for snowboarding. materials and durability is a big factor for board jackets. snowboarding isn't soft like pony ridin...you can be slidin on your face for 30ft when you bust ass haha
and north face is still better quality than the non-snow lines out there.
