since nike created the actual shoe... so its their original but bape took it and did sumthing nike would never do.. such interesting colorways... iunno u guys decide

i dont care for af1s so i automatically don't like bapestas :P ... but if they were to jack the dunk template and jus slap colors on it i prolly wouldnt buy em at $200+... too many reg SBs that need to be copped before i would waste that kind of dough... and cmon D, u kno better than to do that... we get enough hate/criticism from n00b trolls on this part of the forum :(

Bape Stas by far. I like the whole star and lightning bolt affect on the side. not to mention some of the colors that make your eye balls pop out of your head. The Nike swoosh is too simple. Every where you go there's AF1's. The store/to school/ the movies/ Television/ the mall. Bape stas are becoming more popular, but they are still rare.... AF1's are too generic... It's like why buy a Civic when you have the dough to get a Benz?:)

i'm only wearin some bapestas because of ... all the hype around it, one pair of bapesta=a few additionnal chicks per week,
but when it won't work anymore, when this brand will be nothing but a fucking homo hypebeaster symobol who's livin like a geek to afford it, there'll be only air force ones in my room,


& you can break necks with af1 too, just try walking with some ps1 or year of the dog, yea of course it's much more expansive than those little 200$ fake looking shoes..

i think that u should follow yr heart in what ever u r getting... not jus cos somebody don like it then u don buy.. but if u really it... jus buy it...
but for me i won go for those bape sta cos it really all about the brand or something but one thing for sure it does make u stand out from the rest who r wearing AF1...although bape sta is like really copying from nike AF1 alot of other brands also copy other brands or mayb u can go for other kinds of shoes other then jus AF1 or bape stas.

When I was younger and I ran into some earlier versions of Bape on ebay (they where all white with and orange star) I thought wherever this shoe came from it was biting forces, plus I was into the Taiwans and Guccis anyway.

My point is I respect Nigo for taking the Forces to places Nike couldn't or didn't at the time (colorways) but I'm a fan of both, that also might be because of my love for Japanese cluture though.
