Hey guys, first post on HB, but I've been lurking here for a while.
I recently purchased a pair of Mooks raw denim jeans and Ive read up a little on washing and all that. Ive had them for a few months now, and they are starting to look pretty good (still havent washed them), but the only problem is that they are kinda starting to smell a little. Ive had a few beer spills on them, and combined with going out to bars etc, they are bearable, but Id really like to get them smelling nice.
Does anyone have any tips on getting the smell of partying and youth out of them, because I plan on buying more raaaw denim, and I want them to not be stanky.
Dont hate guys, I really need to know this. Noob or not, I need help.
Thanks

The brand is a respectable brand. Ive sprayed cologne on them, but Id rather not try mask the smell with that.
Yeah I could wash them, but I kinda want to leave them for as long as I can.
How do you guys keep your jeans that you have been wearing for 8 months with no wash not smelling terrible

some methods ive heard are using febreeze, stickin em in a freezer, and using baking soda (like keep em in a drawer with an open box to absorb odor, jus like u would with stinky food in a fridge)... pm awwsheet he should have some good answers for u

That can't be healthy right?
Whats the deal with not washing them, seriously can someone explain please.
^It gives the best amount of wear/fading if you hold out on washing them for as long as possible, THEN when you wash them they will fade nicely with some dope contrast.
Throw them in the freezer overnight and they will not smell....kinda weird though.

Not a complete denim head but...
The deal with not washing them is to wear them in as much as possible then when you finally wash them they are broken in and distressed in the right spots.
Also I usually just febreeze my jeans and that does the trick.
EDIT: spelling / DUM beat me to it! ha

fabreeze
freezer
turn it inside out and put baking soda on it wrap it up and freeze it
mask the smell with another smell
hang it with dryer sheets in a windy place
if you have to wash them...dry clean or soak them fast in cold water and hang dry. i heard extremes where you soak it in vinegar water or super salty water but i havent done those personally so read up on it before you do it.
i usually put it in the freezer or turn it inside out and put baking soda on it and then in a bag in the freezer.
just keep in mind heat shrinks jeans. water fades jeans. but with that said...a little fade and a little shrink is what you want and ultimately what your going to get when you wear raw jeans. its the whole point

seriously its not that big of a deal. not alot of people smell your dick anyways. and usually if your dick area smells its the jeans not your actual dick. hopefully. etheir way you still get laid. if a bitch is going to smell your jeans in the dick area shes probably a female dog. so jsut wear it and freeze it. if you freeze it when your not wearing them it takes longer to get "smelly crotch".
oh yeah if you put baking soda on you have to shake the shit out of it real *****s do real things
I'm broke

seriously just go get them dry cleaned. its not that complicated. 3 bucks and the smell is gone; no shrinking or fading.

Just get them outside in the air and let them hang for a day or maybe to.. helps for me, I have 100 beers spilled on my pants, they don't smell. :D

Thanks for the help guys. I think I might try get them to a dry cleaner this week, after hanging them out for a bit.
Can anyone give me more info on this febreeze stuff? Any websites that sell it. I live in Australia, and ive looked around supermarkets etc for it and it doesnt seem to exist.

i febreeze and roll up my jeans in fresh towels. towels soak up the stank. have patience. you'll love how stanky jeans that havent been washed in 2+ years look.
