Washing Raw Denim

Where is the STICKY ON THIS someone please help meee

Soak them in the tub, inside-out and drip-dry.

Cold soak in tub = minimal fading and shrinkage
warm soak in tub = moderate fading and shrinkage
hot soak in tub = maximal fading and shrinkage

+ vegetable soap = cleans em up
+ sugar = stiffens em up
+vinegar = (some people says it helps to retain indigo I think)

i just copped some red monkeys so my best bet is to just soak them in cold water and thats it, i dont want the color to mess up or fade on to my sneakerss

so soak my jeans in sugar water to stiffen them up? .........idk that sounds like one of those wear your jeans soaking wet and let em dry kind of things thats too crazy to even try

That's not crazy it's just a starch.

if you tape it up. you dont use alot of tape and it only goes on the inside...you cant see it. the tape contacts the shoe and your all set

ok ill try that when i rock my jeans uncuffed...oh and DUM does regular sprau on starch work as good as that sugar bath (explain process btw...) cus i have tons of that stuff...
