Lets say you have a clothing line in America. Lets say that your an upstart, and your trying to establish your brand. Your particular about where your clothing is sold and you have built a great relationship with your local sneaker boutique.

Say you get a request from a store in Japan for clothing. This store request a nice size order for your small upstart company. They want your entire line of clothing. They send you pictures of their store, that include other items, and how the store is setup.

Here is the question....Some of these questions may have to do with the Japanese culture, and how they shop. Would you make the sell? What if the store does not sell the same types of clothing? What if the people you consider your contemparies are not there? Do you potentially sacrifice your brand (if the spot is not what you think), to get your clothing internationally?

What do you think?

well i don't know much about this...but i'd say if you're just trying to get your brand out there & get maximum exposure by any means necessary, i'd say go for it. if you're trying to make your brand more limited, or geared towards certain shops, then i guess hold off until you can get connections with stores that you are interested in. it really depends on your ideas for your brand.

Do you get with a girl that sleeps with everyone, just to get some, or do you wait for the right one?
Whether you realize it or not, every decision you make effects you brand image. The fact that you ask this question means that you have not locked down your brand identity and image. This question gets easier once you have a firm understanding of where you want your brand to be. If your into the volume game, the store should not matter. More is good. But of course, once you go down that road, you close off the ability to get into the select boutique arena. It all depends on what you want to do.
