cut and sew means more expensive, but these companies aren't paying more than $50-$70 to have these made..
by that logic, why in the hell would they turn around and sell them for $80 then?
as I understand it, retail is usually about double wholesale and wholesale is around double the cost of production....
furthermore, if the price bugs you like that, you dont have to buy it.

..its supply and demand. If hype got it jumpin off the shelves in 15 mins or less, why not double the price. Heads are still gonna buy. Streetwear is hitting mainstream right now, so its time for the companies to break bread....thus prices rise.

The funny part to me is that people are shocked that things in fashion are expensive or overpriced....where have you been for the last 75 years?
People cried when Gucci purses cost a shit load, people cried when Jordan sneakers cost 100 bucks......it is what it is...no good way to explain why it costs so much other than....people will buy it.

Supreme is a bigger brand then Triumvir. Some brands need to charge a higher price so that they at least make some profit.
The best advice is if you do not like the price, don't buy it.
I aint paying 150 for a hoddie
I'm undergrund!

Hundreds paisley was 80....
And the quality wasn't that good either. In fact, I don't even think they were cut and sew because if they were, why were there so many imperfections? And like dude said, don't buy it. I copped both and the fewer people that buy it means the less likely I'll run into somebody with the same shit on!

if it costs $50 to make, they wholesale it for $100, if retail pays $100 wholesale, they sell it for $200+. everybody has to flip their dough, thats how the game goes.

Quality nor cut and sew justify the prices..........consumers are justifying the prices.......bottom line.........as long as kids continue to buy peices, this overpriced trend will only continue! Stop blaming the brands, they don't care what you say/think, they getting money from somebody, and that's all that matters....

I do think that $150 is the new 80. Triumvir aside (I do believe that they made a very expensive garment), stuff just keeps getting more expensive. I remember when I thought I was crazy for buying a $28 Futura tee like 3 years ago. Hoodies are nuts though, especially the BASIC AS HELL aNYthing ones for $135.

alot of talk in this thread, not alot of knowledge. the reason they are 150 bucks is not because it cost them more to make them, its because they know people will pay for them. the only reason they should be 150 is if the materials were of such high quality and there were odd details that would cost more to do...(the mask wouldnt have added more than a dollar or two), and the amount they produced was small, say 300 per style. but i doubt thats how many were made. if they made 600 of these then they are only paying around 25

ANYWAYS, let them charge 150 for these hoodies. This is their business, their hustle, so let them charge whatever they want.
Tell me the difference between a $5000 painting and a $500 painting
