Many of todays independent brands run the tshirt and hoodie trend. Brands like The Hundreds, 10deep, Crooks, Scifen, LRG, etc. currently seem to be quite successful. Im not going to change, ive been into this hiphop/streetwear culture way before these new brands cought on. But, its not so easy to say that about the many that jumped on the bandwagon.
In one years time what brands will still run this game?

Not to be an asshole, but judging from that thread you posted with your designs and there positive replies, Allhiphop members are either stupid, very nice, or cant dress at all.

We've established that I'm an asshole. And it's funny you tried to put a meaning (couple paragraphs long too) behind your blind following of Marc Ecko's every move.

I think I'm going to make a rule about 'free posts'..
Brands do come and go. But, more often, people grow out of brands and trends. In a year or two a lot of hundreds,10deep, etc. fans will have moved on. But there will be another crowd to follow and take their place.
I think the brands you mentioned will continue to thrive.. but you're going to be the one to switch up.

since most buy these brands because they are cool on the internet (or media), rather than the real streets, they will die off while other "Exclusive" brands will take their place. its a cycle

^What do you mean by 'die off'? Are they going to go bankrupt and stop making clothes? Or are they going to seem less cool to you?
The brands that will last are the ones that reflect more than fashion. Brands that reflect a culture will strive. Scifen is dope. they rep HipHop properly. They dont have the craziest detailed prints but their stuff is innovative and touch upon real topics. 10deep is simply dope in a fashion sense.
But companies like these come and go. many simply arent built for longevity. They are just fresh for the moment.
10 deep is a brand that I think has longevity.

i think lrg will be around for years to come.....
as for what mainstream thinks is 'in' or whatever brands lyk ed hardy and bape are going to be out of style pretty soon because so many people are wearing them....
ed hardy is basicaly the new von dutch....and look at them u never see ne one rocking that ne more....
