I was in my studio in Tokyo when the earthquake hit, and it was the biggest
earthquake I have personally experienced. When everybody in my building
evacuated, it was crazy to see surrounding buildings swaying from left to
right. When I returned to my studio, the speakers fell off the stands, desk
tops computers fell over, and the walls were cracked.
My family and everyone I know are safe, but my prayers go out to people in
other parts of Japan, especially those in the Miyagi Prefecture, where it seems
to have hit hardest and the tsunami caused much damage.
It is a little past 10:30pm (JST) now, and we are still experiencing aftershock,
here in Tokyo.
Please pray for those who are suffering from this disaster.
