LUPE FIASCO: Lasers Cover Art + “Words I Never Said” + Eric Elms Collaboration
January 19, 2011

Designed by the design team atOAK, based in Brooklyn New York. OAK also designed the Japanese Cartoon website this past summer.
The next single, (*perhaps*) to drop from LASERS is "Words I Never Said." All I can say is, being in the studio when Lupe recorded this song was pretty inspiring. For a friend of mine to go "on the record" to the extent that he does on this song was incredibly inspiring to watch; certainly courage in the face of fire. Get ready for a hyper-conscious shot of what this western world of ours is all about.

And, thirdly, Lupe's cover for issue two of High Snobiety Magazine just dropped in Germany. Cover art by the amazingly talented Eric Elms. It is currently available at select stores in and around Berlin, such as Firmament and Soto. Thanks again to the HS team for making this happen in NYC this past fall. And, of course, to museum security teams for not stopping/recognizing the "going down of" impromptu magazine cover shoots on their premises.
