Nakameguro In Bloom.
March 25, 2010
Anyone that`s been to Japan during the Hanami season knows it`s an experience like none other and happens but once a year. The Sakura tree`s are out in full effect and the weather has finally turned its final wintry corner toward warmer longer days. Everyone is out drinking, eating and generally enjoying themselves. This coming weekend in Tokyo is officially the first weekend of Hanami. The celebration of warm weather and Sakura tree`s will last possibly two weeks, even less if it rains. Its beauty is fleeting. and its hangovers well worth it.
The photo below is of Tokyo`s Nakameguro district. This section of the Meguro river is famous for having hundreds of Sakura Trees lining its edges.

that looks in no way real. like, whoa.
