Vitsœ x Kinfolk: Built to Last
May 9, 2012

Vitsœ and Kinfolk Bicycle Company invite you to join them in a celebration of good, lasting design. Kinfolk frames, hand-built in Japan, epitomize the art of craftsmanship; like Vitsœ shelves, these classic objects are designed to be enjoyed forever. In their products' honest design and careful attention in manufacturing, Vitsœ and Kinfolk create timeless products that are truly built to last.

Founding member Ryan Carney will discuss Kinfolk’s design philosophy, the creation of Kinfolk Bicycles, and the parallels between the company’s ideology and Dieter Rams’ influential ten principles for good design. Reception to follow.

Kinfolk's own bicycles will also be on a month-long view at the Vitsœ shop, where an exciting glimpse into the process and passion behind their construction will be on display.

Thursday, May 17th
7pm (talk begins at 7:30pm)
