Milan-based creative director Marcelo Burlon jetted to Hong Kong last week to launch “lab by Lane Crawford” — and did so with an orchestrated bang…
To mark the grand launch of “lab by Lane Crawford” — a new fashion attitude and retail concept for modern women — celebrated Milan-based creative director Marcelo Burlon flew in to Hong Kong to formally kick off the celebrations. Invited to generate a series of stimulating in-store installations for Lane Crawford in Hong Kong and Beijing, Burlon shot and edited the "Symphony of Milano" video, featuring 23 of Milan’s most talked-about influencers including models, artists, stylists, art directors and musicians.
Last week, Burlon created the “Symphony of Hong Kong” edition, where 23 local influencers expressed their individual style in selected lab fashion-brand wardrobes available at Lane Crawford. The cast included local fashion icon Hilary Tsui, stylist Tina Leung, blogger Cindy Ko and designer Philip Chu; as well as creatives Arnault Castel, Danielle Huthart and Kevin Poon.

The beauty of living in Hong Kong is that from time to time, interesting people stop by and share some world views. This week, I had the two owners of HAN KJOBENHAVN in town from Copenhagen.
I first learned about their brand on Monocle magazine, and subsequently we connected on the Internet, yesterday was the first day we had met up and our conversation was very interesting on the global perspective and the rising care of international trade and the danger of economic downturn in the European regions, Greece, Spain, and lots of neighboring countries are imposing import tax's and the world economy is a bit messy.

they have a really nice eyewear collection, reasonable price points but great craftsmanship.
