the past few days have been madness, the end of the year a lot of things to do, people to see, places to go, the weather has been amazing lately. started this morning with with BEN @ DISNEY. he is an amazing character to work with and has been really fostering ahead this movement we got going so that was nice. i was barely awake when the 2nd group came by. EDWIN from KL as well as LINTON from FIXONIC. discussing the next big thing. (actually were talking about cameras) good to see our KL solider.

after dealing with the daily madness, i left the office to go visit FAMA shooting their upcoming album cover and promotional shots.

looking very stylish the wardrobe is styled by ADRIN, on the other side of GLAM:FAB,

you can see here EDC doing art direction, and executive producing, and mentoring FAMA, very refreshing to see that. after the styling shots, we move onto AVON studios, here is CKWUN eating his dinner @ 11:30PM

meanwhile on the other side, EDC being 6 WING’s vocal coach and mentor (i would say)for the last song in the album, very fresh indeed. wish you could here it now too? keep coming back here for more info.

on the other side JUICE HK is getting busy too, for the final preperation and setup for the juice x reebok pump 20 year anniversary, look forward to seeing you guys out there friday night guys.

on the other side, on the same night Friday the 20th, my seefu and homie DJ TOMMY will be having his album, USB ROBOT CD release @ XAGA and then the following Saturday the 20th at LUXY, after i finish hosting this reebok event in hong kong will come join the crew on Saturday the 20th @ LUXY, come check it out. special shoutout to DJ TOMMY, 99, ALAN, COEI, MASTA MIC, EDC, JEFF, and the whole crew. DESERT CAMO / GQ CHINA

today was the official sales of the alienegra desert camo parka, and for this special drop we wrapped our whole store in a desert storm camouflage, very fresh… if you haven’t checked it out already, we still have a limited run of sizes available, and only S, M, L available at the online store left, don’t regret later when you don’t cop it now, this is a one of a time release this particular colorway won’t be released ever again. ever ever. click HERE to get a final glimpse of this release.

after seeing thru the sales of the parka, i had an interview from GQ CHINA.

i have always been a fan of GQ, and to be interviewed by them is a great feeling.

it was really refreshing to be interviewed by journalist that does their research and really understands what we are doing, the questions they seek to answer and the angle they attempt to write is very unique and thought out, look forward to seeing you again soon and for the article to release.

MASTA MIC LIVE @ FRINGE CLUB

last night i had the privilege to check out CMD new artist MASTA MIC perform live @ the fringe club. it was like i was back in high school, actually when i was going to school, i frequented the fringe club for live band and music acts, never did i realize that 10 years later i will be going to check on talent that is signed to our sister label.

a lot of our friends came out that night, sam lee, phat from 24 herbs, edc, vernie, joe, tony, adrin, helen, miss yellow, pae, and the list goes on…. it really was enjoyable to see so many people supporting an indie movement.

ALIENEGRA III A CLOSER LOOK

yesterday i showed you the preview of alienegra III by dj tommy and edc. today i want to give you a closer look on the long anticipated camouflage parka that we have created.

this is the basic silhouette, our classic parka shape, with the new signature camouflage in really fresh colors. seriously so fresh and sharp when you put it on.

with leather patches on the elbows and also for the pockets, for increased comfort and style.

madsaki patches on one side

and clot tags on the other side.

the mohawk is just a for fun concept, that can be removed

also there is a waffle ski mask that has the signature ANAL MADSAKI logo on here, that also can be removed.

we will be releasing this parka in very limited quantities only in hong kong, kl, and online - november 17th @ 2580 HKD

its been a crazy past few weeks, as the end of the year approaches more and more things are being tackled, so i am going to try to condense my stories into one blog post to catch back up to my day to day. its been driving me mad, maybe i am turning into a blogaholic. i feel like i owe it to the readers. (okay i am crazy)

i first heard about M1nt a few years ago, it was a members club, consists of many shareholders that combine to form the collective, at one point i remember that on the flyers it boasted that the club was so exclusive in its UK spot, that it would turn away so called A-Listers because m1nt was so exclusive. I don’t know if its true, but the Shanghai spot really is amazing. Great job Charles and Magnus.

my first impression was it had a similar setup to Seeva, pretty good vibes.

they were setting up in the afternoon the night of Dom Perignon party.

i am afraid to promote JIA SHANGHAI too much because it really is my most favorite place to stay in Shanghai at least lately. the rooms are nice, private, people are friendly, and most importantly, i have been a loyal guest @ jia for years, here is a photo of the mushroom risotto. its so delicious. do have time to check it out when you’re around.
