back in hong kong, everyday dealing. let me see what is interesting to show you, yesterday i took an interview from CONCIERGE magazine about my professional opinion on party, kind of a funny interview if you ask me, CONCIERGE is a Japanese magazine that circulates to Japanese people living overseas so if you have time check it out.

DITA x CLOT “FDTD” FRAMES

Dita is a brand that i have liked and known for a long time, i first met Tommy from Dita thru Cassian from Sistyr Moon and quickly realized that we had a lot of mutual friends together. I wanted to hold off on the release of the news of this special frame, but when i was in taiwan, I saw for some reason they released some info of it so i decided to show you guys a sneak peak here.

As you may know, we did a frame with Dita last season, the Midnight Specials, it was a special red version we altered from an existing frame that was out in the Dita lineup and we gave it a special treatment of red and lazer etched our logo on it. we gave a pair to Lupe Fiasco and you might have seen him wearing it.

This time around instead of just changing some colors of an existing frame, we created a BRAND NEW frame from the start. We gave Tommy and he showed us some comps, back and forward we created a frame that is very fresh and is only made exclusively for CLOT.

Taiwan Field Report Pt. 2

tired, and exhausted, i am now at my hotel waiting for my flight to board, thought i might update so you guys can have some new content. soooooooo where did i last leave you guys?

in the afternoon, i went to check out sam’s store unity, as they were just kicking back taking some interviews, Unity is located in Shimunting (not sure about the spelling) but its on the other side of where our hotel is at and is a more densely populated area with a lot of foot traffic and people all around, kind of reminds me of Mong Kok in HK.

in celebration of halloween, subcrew made a special item, pumpkin hat for sale only at the venue. too bad by the time i am posting this its all sold out.

on our way to back from Unity to the EAST district, we saw this super styling scooter driver dipped in “CLOT” apparel, props to you…

stopped by one of my most favorite stores in taipei, LEFTFOOT, some exciting developments coming up soon, thank you Jahan and Soda.

stopped by the undercover store to see some shorty taking pics, there are actually models everywhere in taiwan, i don’t quite understand but jeff was trying to break it down to me all the different categories.

the next morning, i had a very nice meeting with Derek from Levi’s, he took me to a very interesting japanese spot called SAMJENG - very delicious food and amazing decor. similar to Inagiku in HK but a 1/3 of the price. why is everything so amazing in taipei?

under Derek’s recommendation i stopped by “eslite books” the largest bookshop in the whole of taiwan, looked at the magazines, saw Edison’s cover of Cool and various publications which i will show you again soon

low and behold, at the travel section in the middle of the bookstore, is a book that i participated in telling taiwan people (i’m assuming) whats fun in hong kong, so if you are from Taiwan and want to come to HK, check it out, haha or u can leave a message here on my blog……
