Vans Syndicate designed by Supreme NYC Luke Meier
December 30, 2009

After some surf today , went over to see whats what with the newest of newest Vans. This new shoe just caught my eye instantly. Without knowing the history of who or whatever created it. Its by far the best syndicate shoe that Vans has ever created. I got the short story that Supreme NYC designer Luke Meier created this shoe and it will be released Fall 2010. Incredible work by both Vans and Luke Meier. Lucky for us that we have been blessed at In4mation to be a Vans Syndicate account and will be getting these...... for sure.

Yeah Keeg shoes got alot of subtle design elements to it. Shoe looks so much nicer seeing it with your own eyes. its has a real sophisticated feel to it. Its a nice nice shoe.

wish this could have stayed under wraps for a few more months, one of the best aspects of the syndicate division is the surprise factor.

Brant , checked your site. amazing store http://www.silostore.com . one thing we noticed here that there hasnt been that exitement that the Syndicate brand deserves. Might have been premature on showing these images from just being stoked on the Syndicate line. To be honest most people dont realize how special and hard to get this line is . 50 stores worldwide.

Jun Jo, I agree entirely and appreciate your comments. Generally speaking, there is a fine line that is walked between bringing awareness/hyping something up and letting the cat out of the bag. It is by no means MY place to judge on which is which, and most importantly we never truly know until the release if the media/anticipation was a good thing or a let down. Back to this release, perhaps I am too critical, esp as the other colorways will still be a surprise (although will undoubtedly be leaked eventually as well).

Syndicate is one of, if not THE best thing out there for shops like ours, and I am on the edge of my seat every time our rep walks in the door with new samples. I feel the public would appreciate the same feeling. I really miss educating customers about a new product/color story. Just my jaded and critical 2 cents about it all.

    happy new year!

You are right on all what you have brought up. At our shops we love to educate our consumers on what they are looking at and most importantly the storyline behind all the products, once that happens we feel that people get that special feeling on the products that have an actual story to it. thats something that i do feel alot of shops dont do in our industry as well as so many brands that dont really have a story behind them in our industry. think everyone is too reliant on blogs telling them whats good and not good. Its cool to see someone like you share the same enthusiasm as we do here in Hawaii. looking forward to meeting some day.

I definitely agree! To try to bring this back to the original topic I love how the shoe has absolutely no labeling whatsoever besides insole. Destroy Luxury!
