Continue the dream

A few years ago i went on a trip to Japan to attempt to catch the biggest wave ever there. It was a project put together by surf legends Tom Carroll and Ross Clark Jones. These guys were the biggest thing ever in the sport of surfing back in the 80s, Tom Carroll winning several world titles and Ross just being known for the mad man he is. So meeting these guys i really didnt know what to expect. Figure with all the titles and notoriety these guys would be seasoned pro's. It was far from what i expected, these guys were like little kids on a crazy sugar high. Running around the hotel , jumping on my bed to wake me up to get an early surf.... just being so enthusiastic about everything. It made me realize that it is possible to keep living the dream..... these guys are living example of what it takes. They love what they are doing. Since then these guys have kept chasing the biggest and most scary waves they possibly can get their hands on. I heard last that they were in Tasmania a year ago or so and now are in New Zealand from the looks of the video. With modern technology at its finest in tow helicopters, jet skis and boats as well as a giant film crew. Everything is getting well documented. Check this clip from New Zealand!
