Yesterday we took our seasonal visit to the north shore of oahu to check out the new Van's lineup, my favorite rep Geoff and of coarse the world famous Giovanni shrimp truck. The more i take the drive out to the north shore the more i realize how much i love Hawaii. i mean we have such a cool city with so much going on in Honolulu but if you want to get away its only a 45 minute drive into straight country living. Empty white sand beaches , green grass , just straight cruising.

meet Geoff, ive know Geoff since i was a little kid surfing the north shore , he was one of the transplants from Cali that just moved over for the big waves and hawaii surf lifestyle. Dude charges some crazy ones but what makes me respect him the most is that he actually lives the lifestyle , being in the industry for awhile you would have to say there are alot of posers. None of them have actually surfed , skated or whatever. anyways Geoff moved away from Hawaii and out of the blues we reconnected when he told us hes moving back and the newest Vans rep. From that moment on it made us at the In4mation stores more comfortable to back up what Vans and Geoff be working on.

Justin the shops buyer surveying the goods, one thing that shops like us have to be careful is that some brands are so big that they have stuff for everyone. Mainstream , core and real core (sydnicate) . the theory is just pick what we would like and go from there. first impressions is always the right one.
