I think you'll find that Jon is probably the only person at vans HQ who would have issues with himself posting inside design inspiration information. After all, it's all his work. I for one am finding this roll truly enlightening, both as a fan and retailer. So awesome and a rare experience being able to see substance behind design. If you're worried about other brands 'biting' then at least we'll know where they referenced it from. Thanks for the knowledge Jon! Keep it coming.
jon is helping vans out if anything... they can keep doing the warp tour all they want, but it's dudes like this that keep them rooted to concrete. they should be paying him more for his relationships that are built around skateboarding not designing a shoe. you can't just roll up and shoot some of these fools without a personal relationship. you'll get checked son.
