PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR.
December 14, 2009

"‘The crowd were yelling out for him to get out of the way and he kept on taking pictures,’ said one eyewitness.

‘He really is lucky to be alive, but he must have taken some great photos."

Believe me, I've seen my fair share of motorsport near misses (including some behind the driver's seat) - Andy Willsheer, I salute your dedication for automotive photography.

You definitely win the award for "biggest balls of the year". Salut.

A for effort, but the imagery really isn't that spectacular. It's tough to capture how inherently dangerous a situation is through photos when motion is involved cause if the shutter's fast enough you can't tell something is in movement. But the last one and 3rd last one are pretty crazy.

holy shit! balls of steel... Sure the images aren't the greatest but I wouldve jumped outta the way, much less kept shooting. Insane!
