GOING BANANAS.
I’ve just recently been invited by Alistair Kwun to speak at this year’s “Rising Dragons” International conference, as part of a creative forum hosted by the University of Auckland Business School and organized by the New Zealand Chinese Association on the 18/19th July 2009.
It’s a rather large popular annual conference that is attended by people across all communities (not just the immigrant community), and shares the stories and journeys of various high-profile New Zealand Chinese individuals or overseas Chinese who live in New Zealand (I fall in the latter category, but hardly in the “high-profile” category, as I don’t believe I deserve that title…) in the business, creative, and cultural arenas. It’ll also be the first time speaking at my old University as well, which will be a bit of a daunting experience.
