What happened to Oscar Grant was a tragedy. What ensued after his trial was a travesty. His murderer being sentenced with a slap on the wrist was further proof that "the length of black life is treated with short worth"

I feel what you're saying bro, but at the same time you gotta look at it from all angles. Dante Stallworth killed an innocent man that was just getting off a shift from a shitty job...dude was driving drunk..yet is still playing pro football and making his cake while the man's family lost their pops. Yea they got money out of it but surely nothing close to what a father is worth. Either way, society is crap.
