Song of the Day: Sir Lord Baltimore-Kingdom Come
December 13, 2009
Its pouring in NYC. The kind of weather that requires preparing for hermit status. I couldn't think of a better day to be sedentary on the couch with my eyes transfixed to episodes of 30 Rock and waiting for the faithful Japanese food delivery guy to show up at my doorstep tracking puddles in the hallway and holding my Spider rolls.
However, that dream is dashed as i promised to help a friend write her paper on Latina Studies which seems odd because my only expertise in the study of latin women comes from ogling females in Washington heights.
The gloom of waiting for day break brings me back to the song Kingdom Come by Sir Lord Baltimore. The regal speak reminds me of the tomes of King Arthur and the Knights of the round table and for some reason i always imagine it to be cloudy wherever they might be. Maybe because its set in England?
Ok theres is actually no science as to why this is my song of the day. I just read over the above statements and realized they make no sense.
Whatevs, its a good song. Im going to do this more often. I promise i'll make more sense as i go on.
dig your vibe man.
