As someone who thinks retail therapy is a viable medical pursuit i can’t say that i’m totally disconnected from abject materialism but The opportunity and ability to get things is more important than the things themselves are to me if that makes any sense.

Jordan Brand saw fit to re-release the black and red Air Jordan 1 in its 60+ pack over the past week. Opportunity.
I’ve wanted a pair of of black and red 1’s since i was old enough to stop waking up in a pool of my own urine…so that’s about 3 weeks now. I Kid.

I was too young and poor for OG’s and not fast enough (and still too poor) for the retros. Luckily i was right on time and less impoverished (lets not get it twisted, i’m still broke) for the 60+ pack.

Attaining something that you have coveted throughout your childhood brings you back to that giddy feeling that coursed through you while hope still sprang eternal, but it also helps you close that chapter. “When i became a man i put away childish things” to paraphrase (mangle) a proverb. Now on to the next treasure.

Anyone know where i can find an Easybake oven? or a Snoopy Snowcone machine?

The people that bitch about retros are the rich kids that were able to cop everything the first time around.

Only if done incorrectly, these were done very properly well.
See black suede varsity-red 1pieceupperbackquarter VI SAMPLE for Early 2010.

Throw black laces in, and you are perfect Emeka. These were one of those that were a MUST.
