DEEP DOWN.
I just got back from watching WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE. You can see my review of the film HERE.
In the film, one of the Wild Things, KW, is voiced by Lauren Ambrose, who I’ve always admired as an actor. Primarily for her work on the late Six Feet Under, which was one of my favorite HBO series, about a family funeral business. What made the show especially memorable was the series finale. More specifically, the 10 minute closing montage, which encapsulated the entire 5 year lifespan of the show. Considering the show’s dark and grim overtones, it was the perfect way to end the legacy. Each characters’ life is fast-forwarded to show how they live out the rest of their time on Earth, and more importantly, how they die. In my opinion, the BEST series finale of all time:

Agreed. I remember crying for a half hour after that episode aired.That was HBO’s best series, then The Sopranos, Entourage & Curb (IMO).
