"Adam Port is a night crawler. He skulks dimly lit streets in the midnight hour, preying upon the weak and less able. Well, in a manner of speaking. What he actually does is energetically take the stage most nights to feed you the proper dose of aural vitamins. He does so the whole night through, smiling and dancing behind the booth on pure natural energy. After a long keinemusik night at Horst, we met up at his place in Kreuzberg to talk about hustlin’, Hare Krishnas, and all the in between. Adam kindly brings us orange juice and we sit down in his studio. He’s going through his music for something to play and I’m staring at the puddle that’s slowly forming under my shoes from the melting snow....."
