This Editorial Takes Another Look at Helmut Lang's Capsule of Remade Archive Pieces
More classic pieces from the brand.
After recently storming New York Fashion Week with a Shayne Oliver-designed collection, Helmut Lang has gone back to its roots for its latest drop. As part of the “Re-Edition” initiative – announced by the label earlier this year — the new capsule focuses on some of the most iconic pieces from the Helmut Lang archive, which the namesake famously shredded after a fire in 2010.
The latest “Re-Edition” drop features a range of outerwear pieces — including a hooded parka from 1998 and the metallic silver Astro Moto jacket that first released in 1999 — as well as T-shirts from 2004, a hoodie from 2003 and a knitted sweater with cut-out elbows from 1997.
The full “Re-Edition” capsule is available now from END., with prices ranging from £149 GBP (approx. $200 USD) for the tees to £2,499 GBP (approx. $3,200 USD) for the parka. For more from the brand, refresh your memory of the “Autumn Tour” capsule that released last month.
