MJ's Infamous "Breakfast Club" Workouts Inspired the New Jordan Trainer 2 Flyknit
A Jordan performance model utilizes Flyknit for the very first time.
Having surfaced earlier this month, Jordan Brand has now officially unveiled the upcoming Jordan Trainer 2 Flyknit. The first Jordan performance model to ever utilize Nike‘s Flyknit technology, the low-top is an homage to MJ’s infamous “Breakfast Club” workouts and couples the upper’s construction — which sports an all-new knit pattern — with a mid-foot strap for additional support. As for cushioning, a Zoom Air unit appears beneath the footbed while the strap’s elephant print, an icy outsole, and the key logo on the inside of the tongue (billed as a metaphorical passport to the “breakfast club”) recall the brand’s heritage.
The Jordan Trainer 2 Flyknit debuts July 1.
