Lincoln's 2019 Special Edition Continentals Come With Suicide Doors
Celebrating the model’s 80th birthday.
To celebrate the 80th birthday of its classic Continental, Lincoln recently announced it will be releasing a special iteration of the luxury sedan with suicide doors next year.
Dubbed the Lincoln Continental 80th Anniversary Coach Door Edition, the special model features the same iconic center-opening doors that were first used on the 1961 Continental. The car will also feature luxurious upgrades like a six-inch longer wheelbase, a pass-through rear seat console with stowable tray table and Lincoln Black Label detailing options. Sure to be a collector’s item, the Lincoln Continental 80th Anniversary Coach Door Edition will be limited to only 80 units with its first release.
No official pricing details just yet, but rumors are noting the car will cost more than $100,000 USD. Look for Lincoln to begin releasing the limited Continental 80th Anniversary Coach Door Edition June 2019, with another limited run set for 2020.
