SUNNEI's 2017 Fall/Winter Collection Effuses Purity and Classicism

Italian menswear label SUNNEI brought its clean classicism to Milan men’s fashion week during its Fall/Winter 2017 collection show. Carrying a strong European aesthetic, the collection is inspired by Italian fashion stereotypes and the idea of young men who sneak out from home to attend a party. The line sees classic, well-tailored pieces featuring crisp tonal neutrals — such as olive, peach, yellow, tan and blue — paired with a hefty supply of thick stripes, geometric lines and delicate tartan prints. Freshly-pressed, loose-fitting silhouettes are visited by fur coats, heavy knits and raw denim, while dad hats and graphic tees show the label’s delicate approach to some of streetwear’s more modest trends.
