'Snatch' Trailer: Guy Ritchie's Popular Gangster Flick Get's a TV Series Reboot
It also stars ‘Harry Potter’ actor, Rupert Grint.
Before his days of Sherlock Holmes and The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Guy Ritchie created a gangster film of a gem called Snatch that starred Hollywood heavyweights Brad Pitt and Jason Statham. Now that movie is getting a reboot for the small screen, specifically on Crackle TV.
From the looks of it, the plot of the show which is being pegged as a crime/comedy title will be inspired by the original, telling a tale about hustlers, gangsters, and even gypsy fighters. The official synopsis reads:
Inspired by a real life heist in London, Snatch centers on a group of twenty-something, up and coming hustlers who stumble upon a truck load of stolen gold bullion and are suddenly thrust into the high-stakes world of organized crime. The boys must quickly learn to navigate the treacherous waters of London’s underworld as rogue cops, gypsy fighters, international mobsters and local villains descend.
Snatch also stars Harry Potter actor, Rupert Grint and will air on Crackle (a streaming service) on March 16.
