Moments leading up to the inauguration, many folks within the music community took to social media to say their farewells to Obama and thank him for the last eight years. “We really gonna miss you champ. The good you’ve done & opportunity’s you’ve given. Truly never know what we got til its gone. Thank u” Kendrick Lamar tweeted.
