Nike's Air Trainer Cruz Returns With a Clean Black & White Pack
Victor Cruz’s best kicks yet?

Victor Cruz has kicked off the NFL season in a big way, scoring what proved to be the game-winning touchdown in week 1 against the division rival Cowboys — in Dallas, no less — in his first stint back on the field in nearly two years. Now, a week later, a healthy Cruz and the New York Giants are 2-0 with yesterday’s win over the Saints and Nike has followed it up by unveiling what may be its best renditions of the wideout’s signature Air Trainer Cruz to date.
Marking the first time the kicks have hit the shelves since February’s “Rush Blue” release, the upcoming Cruz drop is a two-parter. Featuring both black and white versions of the kicks (which incorporate a number of elements from past football-inspired Nike trainers), the new release echoes the woven and suede construction of its aforementioned “Rush Blue” predecessor, but comes in clean and understated colorways that are capped off with stark white sole units.
Both colorways are expected to land soon at select NSW spots, but you’ll have to act quick: previous Cruz drops like the Air Jordan 3-inspired “Silver Wing” and boot-like “Haystack” make-up disappeared in a flash.
