M.I.A. has been sharing Periscope streams of rehearsals for her upcoming Warehouse Project show in Manchester. In her first stream, she opened with a killer run-through of Matangi‘s “Bring the Noize,” declaring at the end that she wanted to “kill the EDM version.” In a follow-up Periscope session, she seems to have brought the EDM version back by rapping the song over the beat for DJ Snake and Lil Jon‘s classic “Turn Down for What.” The amusing moment came in between practice performances of A.I.M. tracks like “Bird Song,” “A.M.P” and “Fly Pirate.” M.I.A.’s final album dropped just last week – head here to check it out.
