'King Cobra' Pits James Franco Against Christian Slater in the World of Gay Porn
Based on the real-life murder of porn director Bryan Kocis.
Widely recognized for helming the 2015 Sundance premiere select I am Michael, American film director Justin Kelly returns with a new film called King Cobra that centers upon the real-life murder of gay porn director Bryan Kocis. The film pits James Franco against Christian Slater — rivaling porn producers who battle it out for a budding sex symbol in the industry, Sean Paul Lockhart played by actor Garrett Clayton. The official two-minute trailer is both humorous and dark, offering glimpses into this new drama that follows the porn star and the murder of the producer who assisted in launching his career.
